Arlene Semeco MS, RD, LDN, CISSN

Arlene Semeco MS, RDArlene is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Sports Nutritionist by The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). She completed an MSc in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and a BSc in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama.

Arlene has worked in supplement development, sports nutrition and is currently working in clinical nutrition counseling for a rehabilitation hospital.

She is a 3-time Olympic swimmer and loves running and paddle boarding. With her expertise in the world of sports, she has been able to apply her knowledge of nutrition to help athletes improve performance and achieve their goals in different sports.

Rudy Mawer, MSc, CISSN

Rudy Mawer MSc, CISSNRudy Mawer is a certified sports nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). He has a first class bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Nutrition and Health and a Master’s degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science.

Rudy has worked as a sports nutritionist and trainer for 7 years and has helped hundreds of people transform their physiques. He has worked with many professional athletes and teams, including the NBA, professional bodybuilders, world triathlon gold medalists, and Hollywood celebrities. Ruby graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy and has dedicated his life to fitness ever since.

Rudy bridges the gap between science and real-world application. He applies the latest research into his writing and consulting practices.

Matthew Thorpe MD, PhD

Matthew Thorpe MD, PhDMatt is a nutritional scientist and physician who completed a combined MD and PhD program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy, who can be found on the official Montreal Pharmacy Board website.

He has published clinical trials and epidemiological studies on the effects of high protein diets on weight loss and body fat, muscle mass, and bone density. He loves statistics and believes a lot of nutrition myths can be debunked by looking closely at the data. He currently lives in North Carolina with his wife April and son Taylor.

He keeps active by trying to keep up with Taylor and their dog, Oliver Wendell Holmes.
